Inclusive Movement in Schools
Kimberley Performing Arts Centre (K.P.A.C) delivers inclusive movement and performing arts sessions directly into schools, supporting children and young people to stay active, build confidence, and improve physical and emotional wellbeing.
We currently work in partnership with three SEN schools and one mainstream school, providing tailored movement sessions that meet the needs of pupils who may face barriers to traditional PE or sports-based activities.
Our outreach work is a core part of what we do and reflects our commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and community wellbeing.

What We Deliver
K.P.A.C delivers structured, inclusive movement sessions within school settings, designed to support:
-
Physical activity and motor development
-
Confidence and self-esteem
-
Emotional regulation and wellbeing
-
Engagement and enjoyment in movement
-
Inclusion for pupils with additional needs
Sessions are adapted to suit each setting and group, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported, and able to participate at their own level.

SEN-Focused Practice
Our SEN outreach work is rooted in understanding, flexibility, and person-centred delivery.
We work closely with school staff to ensure sessions:
-
Are accessible to pupils with a range of needs and abilities
-
Support individual EHCP and wellbeing goals where appropriate
-
Focus on participation and positive experiences rather than performance
-
Create calm, structured, and supportive movement environments
This approach allows pupils who may struggle in traditional PE settings to engage positively with physical activity and experience success through movement.

Mainstream School Delivery
Alongside our SEN provision, we also deliver outreach sessions in mainstream schools, supporting inclusive participation, confidence-building, and wellbeing.
Our sessions complement existing school provision and can support:
-
Enrichment and wellbeing programmes
-
Inclusive PE support
-
Targeted intervention groups
-
Physical activity engagement for pupils who may be less confident
We work collaboratively with schools to ensure delivery aligns with their individual priorities and school ethos.
